AUDITION INFORMATION
Admission for both the IMDP Company Competition Team and the acceptance into the Company Class Program are required by in person audition.
All program levels are subject to change.
Current IMDP Company team and Company Class students are required to audition in person at In Motion Dance Project

Fill out our Google Audition Form no later than Friday, June 16, 2023.
For all forms filled out before Wednesday, May 31, 2023 you will receive a $50 credit towards the required IMDP Company Summer Intensive Camp August 2-6, 2023.
*Credit cannot be applied to any other IMDP Summer Experience or Season 20 Program or monthly tuition.
Ages 13-18
JUNE 21, 2023
Location: In Motion Dance Project 2125 Orinoco Drive #132 Orlando, FL 32837
6:00pm – Parent and Dancer Meeting – All auditioning must attend
6:30pm – Audition begins
6:30pm – Full Ballet barre audition – Dress in proper ballet class attire
7:30pm – Jazz and Contemporary audition
*Both jazz and contemporary auditions must be learned prior to arrival. Please click the link below for both auditions.)
8:30pm – Dancer interview
9:15pm-9:30pm – Dancer pick up
For all ages 6-18 that are required to learn audition choreography for jazz and lyrical/contemporary from video –
1. View the video.
2. Learn the combination on your own time at home.
3. Practice, practice, practice
4. Arrive prepared knowing both combinations on your scheduled audition date.
Ages 9-12
JUNE 20, 2023

What should I wear for the audition?

PLEASE ARRIVE READY TO AUDITION
LADIES:
Attire: colorful leotard – ballet skirts may be worn for ballet audition – dancers may put on leggings or dance shorts for the jazz and lyrical/contemporary portion of the audition.
Hair: pulled back out of the face in a clean bun braid or ponytail
Ballet - ballet shoes
Jazz- jazz shoes or character heels
Lyrical- bare feet or turners
BOYS:
Attire: a solid color T-shirt and black shorts – Ballet tights are recommended for ballet audition
