The IMDP Company

In addition to the recreational dance program, In Motion Dance Project also has a competitive student dance company. The IMDP Company consists of dedicated dance students — with equally as dedicated parents — who are committed to furthering their dance education through the development and mastery of each discipline of dance, with greater emphasis on technique, skill and performance.

Each year a select group of dancers is invited to join for the In Motion Dance Project Company. Company members are accepted based upon audition and/or faculty recommendation. Acceptance into the IMDP Company is a year-long commitment, during which students must achieve good attendance, strive to both learn and master choreography, and to represent IMDP at regional and national competitions.
